the weekend was awesomely spent with some great activities =)
lets recap them, one by one.

FRIDAY - TAS APPRECIATION DAY
had the last bese lesson and i got the best speaker award =)
thank you thank you~
at the end of class,
everyone was hugging and tearing for its the last day.... =(
then it was PARTY TIME!!

1st was video screening and new cm, desmond lim in the 2 different LT..
i was the emmcee for blk D while sharmine for blk F..
oh ya, Mag Seow's daughter is very cute..
she was laughed while mr lim is giving speech..
so after speech was video screening..
the video is funny~
i shall upload it soon..

then after that, whole cohort proceed to the parade square to party~
the class rep were required to give a speech..
its a very speech-y day for me..
then the national day photo thingy..
my class won!

next was dance performance by kenneth and yesen..
keiths's friends..
it get the crowd started to shake it and move it~
no just kidding..
the crowd just sit on the floor and watch..
then it was BITS (band in the square) performance..
it got the crowd moving..
and people start asking me..
'can i start eating? i'm hungry'
hahaha
so after 1st half of the performance,
people went ahead with the food and then back for the jam
and after the band's performance,
its dancing time~
ms joan started with the dance floor and follow by amanda and everyone~
andrea can shake shake shake like ricky martin..
hahahaha

so it was the end and i went over to zhen's place for a stayover..
we watched a movie which i totally forgot the name of the movie..
and we slpt ard.. 2am..

SATURDAY - SOCCER TRAINING AND ZHILIN'S CHALET
so chiong-ed home to get change for soccer training in the morning..
lesson learned - no alcohol for me before soccer.
my performance kind of get affected.. didnt score all 5 balls in the suicide run..
oh well,
then went to meet shuling for a while..
like 2 minutes..
then saw jessica and we had a little chat while waiting for winnie..

after that i went home to nap..
then went to meet trina and shuling..

THEN
meet the girl, kim, whom i ps-ed at 5pm on the day,
met up with her with nikki and raudah at 6 plus..
then went over to bedok for the straight bus to east coast park..
waited for freaking freaking long..
and i have a great laugh with nikki raudah and kim..
so reached zhilin's chalet and shortly after we sat comfortably on the bed and eating chicken wing,
kim and raudah need to leave the chalet..
so nikki tagged along with them, leaving me alone at the corner of the chalet drawing circles on the floor.
fine, i didnt. i was chatting with random people whom i dont remember their names..
so this and that..
reached home around 1.05am...
happy 18th birthday on 18082008, zhilin!

SUNDAY - PESTA SUKAN ( it means festival of sports....)
crawled out of bed at 6.15am...
reach marsling mrt at 7.30am with yuting being the first to reach and me, the second.
when everyone was there,
we made our way to singapore american school..
had a wonderful indeed..
although we suffered many defeats but for my own part, i did well..
will always remember the sentence i heard that motivated me since then..
'it doesnt matter how many goals went into the net, at the end of the match, what matters is that you have done your very best, as a defender.'
like what coach said, communication in the game is important and that is what our team is lacking of..
when we were against arion, i had a very good run with 2 whites along side with me but i couldn't find my teammates in the center that can allow me to pass to..
i realise i really love to defend more than being a striker..
1st 2 games i was the striker and i couldn't find the net more than when i am a defender..
then i told coach i am a defender and i can defend better than being a striker..
so my next position that i will be aimming for is.....
DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER!

oh, pesta sukan is a great event!
for i met old friends!
i met anna, she still rmb me!
she was in charge of U19 and police FC..
and i played for policeFC for a friendly match before..
i shld stop hoping around from clubs to clubs..
its good, and its bad...
and i realise i didnt really hate or have any strong feelings against arsenal anymore..
not because they got a bronze instead of a gold...
but i think they are friendly people who possess great skills and have a coach that wants the best out of his players..

oh well,
enough of soccer for 2 - 3 weeks..
now,
studies is more important...

a free afternoon for the not so free person

i am in the school lab once again..
drained by the second with tight schedules here and there.
i am suppose to be doing something meaningful...
i just blogging is meaningful at times =)

alright,
Melbourne trip is cancelled.
maybe i should go to Malacca trip...
but i guess vacancy is super limited...

oh well,

all will go well and for now,

is the TAS APPRECIATION DAY!

i have been in the sun for 3 consecutive days..
and all got to with soccer..
tmr i will be out of the sun,
but still, soccer.

and busstop is a dangerous place to stone at night.

and the weather is still freaking hot.
